Trekking gives you the opportunity to see the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan at its most magnificent. From the towering snow peaks of the inner Himalayas to the verdant forests which cloak the hills above its peaceful valleys, the trails are clean and unspoiled, and the wilderness still pristine in its beauty.

The Gangtey Trek: The Phobjikha valley, at 3000 meters (9,840 ft.), is one of the few glacial valleys in Bhutan and is the chosen home of there are black - necked cranes which migrate here in winter from the Central Asiatic Plateau. The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful places in Bhutan and Gangtey Gompa is the only Nyingmapa monastery on the western side of the Black Mountains. This moderate trek visits the villages of Gogona and Khotokha, passing through meadows and fields, then forests of juniper, magnolia and rhododendrons. One of the finest low levels treks in Bhutan.

Season : The good time for this trek is March to May and September to November. The best month for trek is April when rhododendrons are in full bloom. / Tour Duration: 8 Days / Costs: See Below


The Druk Path Trek: This is a short trek, which leads from Thimphu to Paro, or vice versa, crossing the chain of mountains that separates the two valleys. Although there is little settlement on this route, there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is famous for its spectacular rhododendron forests, which bloom in May. In the clear weather of late autumn and winter there are splendid views across the Himalayas.

Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek: This is a short trek near Thimphu, passing through picturesque high altitude lakes. The trek is moderate with mostly short trekking days but few steep climbs.

Bumthang Cultural Trek: Starting out from the splendid Bumthang valley, this three days trek passes through several villages on its meandering route through Bumthang countryside. This trek provides an exceptional opportunity for contact with Bhutanese rural life.

The Chomolhari Trek: Starting at Drukgyel Dzong, Paro this trek passes through scattered hamlets and farmland, into a deep and richly forested valleys, which leads to a high alpine pastureland where yak herders graze their animals. The trek offers a taste of great variety of Bhutanese landscape.

Season : The ideal time for this trek is April to June and September to November / Tour duration : 12 Days / Cost: See Below


Laya - Gasa Trek: This trek offers a great variety of trekking conditions, from picturesque farmland and forests to alpine pastureland and high passes. Spectacular campsite, beneath some of Bhutan's most impressive peaks, of which the most notable are Chomolhari and Jichu Drake, are also the features of this trekking route. Numerous isolated Dzongs and scattered settlements, including the outlandish village of Laya, provide a great deal of cultural interest enroute.

Season : The trek is generally open from April to mid June and mid September to mid November but April is the best month for trekking on this route. / Tour Duration: 18 Days / Costs: See Below


Snowman Trek: This trek goes to the remote Lunana district and considered as the most challenging trek in Bhutan. The attributes those make it a tough trek are ; distances, altitudes, weather and remoteness.

Season : The Snowman trek is frequently closed because of snow and is almost impossible during winter. The recommended season for this trek is mid June to mid October / Tour Duration: 27 Days / Costs: See Below


Rodungla Trek: This trek across eastern Bhutan used to be an important trade route before the launch of National highway. The route is relatively tough and involves a tremendously long, steep descent. Also it provides opportunity to visit remote Dzong of Lhuntse.

Season: The best month for this trek is October or early November / Tour Duration: 20 Days / Cost: See Below


Costs: In Bhutan, the tourist tariff for foreign tourists is set by the government in US Dollars which is valid for all inclusive package.
Two people travelling together - US$ 210.00 per person per day
3 + Travelling together - US$ 180.00 per person per day
Single person travelling - US$ 225.00 per day

The quoted rates are inclusive of following services :-

- accommodation on twin sharing basis
- all transfers and sightseeing
- services of accompanied english speaking guide
- all meals
- government's royalty which is US $ 65/ per person per day in high season and US $ 63/ per person per day in low season
- entrance fees, porterages, riding ponies and pack animals on treks

Following are not covered in above mentioned pirce :-

- Bhutan visa fee, US $ 20/ per person. It is payable on arrival in Bhutan, in cash. We will assist in obtaining the visa.
- Tourism Development fee, US $ 10/ per person. This US $ 10/ is for total trip.
- Bhutan airport departure tax, US $ 8/ per person
- Airfares : Druk Airfare for flying into Paro from Delhi / Calcutta / Kathmandu / Bangkok (will be quoted on actual)
